Profile of CAAPA

The China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (“CAAPA”) was founded in 1987 and is a multi-industry, multi-area, multi-ownership national industrial organization. It constitutes scientific research, designing, manufacture, marketing and operation of amusement equipments and amusement parks and attractions industry. CAAPA is a national class A association freely joined by operating enterprises of amusement parks and manufacturing enterprises of amusement equipments. It is a non-profit society agent supervised by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council of China (Consigned by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association). The Ministry of Civil Affairs is in charge of its society registration. CAAPA is inspected and guided by these departments mentioned above. CAAPA signed the GLOBALIZATION PROGRAM AGREEMENT with the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (“IAAPA”) in July, 2005 and is one of IAAPA’s global allied partners.
